Superscope CD Recorders

Oral Histories

Superscope CD recorders are designed to work like a tape recorder, with a built in speaker, a powerful built-in condenser microphone, and automatic record level control. Just select Record, and capture life stories of your residents directly to CD. Your recorder will capture every word of an interview with CD-clarity. Because the PSD300 and PSD340 have two drives, you can easily duplicate CDs to give to family and friends. CDs are superior to cassette tapes for archiving, and they can be copied without any loss of quality.

Music Practice

The PSD300 and PSD340 feature innovative controls that enable musicians and singers to slow the tempo of any music CD, change the key of a song, or even reduce lead vocals at the touch of a button. This means you can play or sing along to music on CD with unprecedented control. It's even possible to record both the music on CD with live musicians. Superscope's dual-drive CD recorders are a great way to make custom accompaniment CDs for all the musicians or singers in a band or choral group.

Portable Public Address

Just plug in a microphone (or a pair of mics) to a PSD series CD recorder, and attach a powered speaker, and you've got a convenient, portable system for amplifying your voice or an ensemble in a midsized room. You can pack your mics and recorder into our carrying case, to take your system on the road.

Record Meetings

If you've ever used a tape recorder to record meetings, why not record a CD instead, and then duplicate copies for others in attendance? Mark tracks during the meeting for a convenient way to immediately access points in the recording without having to fast forward or rewind. CD-Rs cost less than tapes, sound better, are easier to mail and duplicate and take up less archive space.
